C-COM is a
facility based long distance reseller with corporate offices located
in Boulder, Colorado. It was founded in 1980 by former MIT and
University of Colorado professor, Fred Chernow. C-COM was the first
reseller of long distance service in the United States. It began to
sell service in 1983, prior to the divestiture of AT&T. The company
